1. Who is this training designed for?
Yellow Belt: Ideal for front-line staff, supervisors, and department heads who need to identify waste (Muda) and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Green Belt: Designed for project leaders, managers, and process owners who will lead cross-functional teams and use data-driven methodology (DMAIC) to solve complex operational problems.
2. Do you offer in-person training at corporate offices?
Yes. While we specialize in high-engagement virtual delivery, we offer on-site, in-person training for corporate teams. Please contact us to discuss travel logistics and group pricing.
3. What if the scheduled course times don’t work for me or my team?
The dates listed on our booking page are our standard public sessions. If these do not align with your schedule, please contact us. We are happy to discuss custom scheduling or request specific dates and times for your group that are not already pre-booked.
4. Is the training live or self-paced?
We offer both instructor-led virtual training and self-paced online courses.
Instructor-led training takes place in scheduled virtual sessions with real-time interaction, group problem-solving, and instructor feedback.
Self-paced courses provide 24/7 access to the training portal, allowing you to study the course material at your own pace without scheduled sessions.
5. Are there any prerequisites for the course?
No prior Six Sigma certification is required. However, we recommend that Green Belt candidates have a basic comfort level with data and a specific process or problem in their current role that they wish to analyze during the course.
6. What kind of device and software do I need for the course?
You must have a computer (Laptop or Desktop) with a stable internet connection.
You must be able to join the virtual classroom with audio and video enabled.
You must be able to install the necessary statistical and modeling software provided during the course.
Tablets and mobile devices are not sufficient for the hands-on technical portions of the Green Belt curriculum.
You will not be required to purchase software because the course uses professional-grade open-source tools.
7. What if I miss one or more classes?
Yellow Belt: Missing classes will result in no certification because the three-day course builds on itself. You will be asked to reschedule.
Green Belt: Attendance is required throughout the ten-day intensive course. Missing more than one day will require rescheduling.
8. Can I cancel or rebook my course?
Instructor-led training participants can contact us by email to request a different course date or cancel their booking.
For self-paced courses, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once you have logged into the training portal. Self-paced cancelled and refunded order results results in a suspension of your credentials to the portal.
9. What payment methods do you accept?
Instructor-led training orders can be paid using the payment methods available at checkout, including invoice payments where supported by Stripe.
Self-paced course orders must be paid by credit card.
10. How are taxes calculated on my purchase?
The applicable tax treatment is determined during checkout based on your billing address, customer type, and any VAT or Tax Identification Number you provide.
Where VAT or other applicable taxes are due, the applicable amount is calculated and added to the course price. Where a valid reverse-charge mechanism, exemption, or other applicable tax treatment applies, VAT may not be charged by Lean 6 Sigma Factory.
The applicable taxes and the total amount you will pay are displayed at checkout before you complete your payment.
11. Is there an exam?
Instructor-led Yellow Belt and Green Belt training includes a live, proctored exam at the end of the final training day.
Self-paced courses include exams completed within the training portal. These exams are not proctored.
12. Can I retake the exam if I fail?
All courses include one exam retake if you do not pass on your first attempt.
13. Are there tollgate reviews and mentoring sessions included?
Instructor-led Green Belt participants receive tollgate reviews at the end of each DMAIC phase to help ensure project progress and success.
Tollgate reviews are not included in the self-paced Green Belt course.
14. Will training material be provided after the course?
Instructor-led training participants receive copyrighted tools, templates, and training materials for use in their own improvement projects.
These training materials are not provided as part of the self-paced courses.
15. When will I receive my certificate?
Instructor-led Yellow Belt: After passing the exam, you receive a Letter of Completion and have two weeks to submit a 15-minute A3 improvement project to receive your Certificate.
Instructor-led Green Belt: After passing the exam, you receive a Letter of Completion and have six months to submit a DMAIC project presentation to receive your Certificate.
Self-paced Yellow Belt and Green Belt: After passing the exam, you receive a Letter of Completion. You must also submit the required final improvement project to receive your Certificate. There is no deadline for self-paced project submissions.
16. Are your certificates recognized globally?
Yes. Our training follows internationally recognized Lean Six Sigma practices and focuses on practical, measurable business results.
